SnuggleWrap is a soft, bear-shaped belly band with a removable red bean pouch. You warm the pouch in the microwave, zip it into the bear and fasten the band around your baby's tummy. It gives gentle warmth and a snug, cuddly hug during calm-down time.
The band is soft minky dot fabric, the plush, bumpy texture often used in baby blankets, and it fastens with adjustable velcro. The removable pouch is filled with natural red beans, which hold gentle warmth and shape softly around the tummy. There are no gel packs, cords or batteries.
The band measures 63 × 16 cm (about 24¾ × 6¼ in). The velcro adjusts to fit babies from newborn to 12 months.
SnuggleWrap is sized for babies from newborn to 12 months. Newborn skin is especially delicate, so keep the warmth gentle, test it on your wrist every time and check your baby's skin often. If your baby was born early or has a medical condition, talk to your pediatrician before using any warming product.
Take the red bean pouch out of the band and microwave it for 15 seconds. If it isn't warm enough, add 5 more seconds, but never go past 20 seconds in total. Shake the pouch to spread the heat and test it on the inside of your wrist. Then zip it into the bear and fasten the band around your baby's tummy. It should be snug, with room for two fingers underneath.
No. Heat only the red bean pouch, and only in the microwave. Never microwave the band, and never use an oven, stovetop, radiator or hot water.
Take the bean pouch out first. Fasten the velcro, machine wash the band on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. Never wash or soak the bean pouch. Spot clean it with a damp cloth if needed, and let it dry completely before heating. If the pouch gets soaked, torn or starts losing beans, stop using it and email us.
